Hat, cap, fashion accessories
A bit of history
The hat has been protecting us from the elements for centuries, it can be worn at any time of the year, regardless of the season – in summer it protects our heads from the sun, heatstroke and UV rays, in winter it protects our hair follicles from the cold so they don’t freeze. The fashion for hats and caps has taken an interesting path to the present day: in the past, they were simply there to protect the wearer from the elements. It was the birthplace of the veil, the turban, the Vietnamese hat, and even the feathered ornament of the Indians. Golden hair-clips, beaded bonnets and bonnets, embroidered hair-bags, hoods, hoods, top hats and even wigs were originally made to protect the human head. If we think that hats have been worn for a very long time, we are surprised, since the headgear of the 18th/XIXth centuries was often a kind of transition between the silt cap and the headgear. The hat fashion became characteristic mainly of the more elevated social classes, because the working classes were content with some kind of headscarf. For them, the only thing that mattered was that ‘unmarried’ boiled only unmarried women, and women with their heads covered…
The hat as an accessory…
“Everybody has a head, which implies the possibility of wearing a hat.” Of course, hats and caps not only have, have and will continue to have a protective function, but also decorate and beautify the wearer, “enchanting the female face, making the look enchanting”. As a hat is an accessory, it must be adapted to our outer clothing. For a perfect look, we must make sure that our hats and caps are in harmony with the style, colour and material of our coats, scarves, scarves, footwear, bags and even gloves! We can buy hats and caps in many different clay materials, styles and colours. For example, a safari style hat is perfect for a trip or hike. A colourful ribbon straw hat is perfect for going to the beach. A traditional canvas hat will look good in almost any wardrobe. Women’s casual hats also come in a wide variety of shapes and styles. There are wide-brimmed, narrow-brimmed, floppy-brimmed and flared-brimmed. Wide brimmed hats typically suit tall ladies, while floppy brimmed hats suit almost everyone, regardless of hair shape or body type. If you want to buy a hat for a daytime suit, choose a small brimmed wool.
For more casual occasions, a hat with a larger brim is also an option, but short ladies should be careful not to be visually crushed. There is no one who doesn’t look good in a hat, you just have to find the right one! Love it, wear it proudly!
